Jeanne C. Steinberg (Staffa)

Jeanne C. Steinberg, 67, of Mattydale, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Jeanne was one of seven children born to the late Felix and Mildred (Yehle) Staffa. She grew up in Nedrow and was a graduate of Onondaga Central High School Class of 1970.

Jeanne retired in 2007 after 36 years as a Business Analyst for MONY in Syracuse. She enjoyed scrapbooking.

Jeanne was predeceased by her husband of 21 years, William "Bill" Steinberg, in 2001.

She is survived by her son, Erich Steinberg of Mattydale; six siblings: Betsy Lydon of Syracuse, Ann Rondinello of NC, Virginia Staffa of Syracuse, Paul Staffa of NC, Leonard Staffa of Boston, MA, and Veronica Peterson of Onondaga Hill; and by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Jeanne's memory may be made to the Rescue Mission, 155 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13202.

Friends may call on Saturday, October 12 from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
