Gladys Anna Stevenson

September 3, 1936 — June 21, 2018

Gladys Anna Stevenson, (formerly Riegelmann) born September 3, 1936, was born in Whitney Point and lived in Syracuse for the last 70 years of her life passed away on Thursday, June 21st after a long battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward & Ida, husband, Charlie and brother, Eddie. Surviving are her four children: Charles, William, Kenneth and Gayanna Mae (Gilbraith), their spouses and their children.

Gladys was an effective and beloved reading teacher in the Syracuse School District for over 30 years. She loved animals, and enjoyed all of the good times with her friends and family at Torpy’s Pond in Erieville, NY. As much as she will be missed, those who loved her are rejoicing in her life and know that she is now with the God and her beloved husband.

Calling hours will be at Krueger Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 26th 4:00 – 6:00 pm with a short service to follow.
