Michael Traino

Michael A. Traino, 55, of North Syracuse, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home. Michael grew up in Eastwood and was a 1978 graduate of Henninger High School. He was the son of the late Frank and Carmella (Cacchione) Traino.

Michael worked as a maintenance mechanic for 13 years at St. Joseph's Hospital. Prior to that, he was employed at the Foundry at Crouse Hinds. Michael was a member of the Chevy Classic Car Club and participated in the Syracuse Nationals since the beginning. He owned and restored several 1955 Chevy's for over 30 years and attended St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.

Michael is survived by his wife of 31 years, the former Regina (Allen); three daughters: Maria Traino of Liverpool, Michelle Traino of Liverpool, and Melissa Traino of Liverpool; his granddaughter, Lenora; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
