Beatrice Wright

July 25, 1916 — September 1, 2009

Beatrice T. Wright, 93, formerly of Pitcher Lane in North Syracuse, died Tuesday at Syracuse Home Association in Baldwinsville. Bea was born July 25, 1916 in Clay, the daughter of John and Ottilie Michaels Thompson. She graduated from Liverpool High School, Syracuse City Normal School and attended Syracuse University. She taught elementary school in Euclid and for many years taught second grade in the Fayetteville schools. She retired from Zinsmeyer Insurance Agency in North Syracuse. Bea was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in North Syracuse for over 50 years. She was active in church affairs as a member of Rebecca Circle, served as president of Lutheran Church Women, as a Sunday school teacher and an usher.
Bea is predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, John H. Wright, who died June 25, 2007; her sisters: Mildred Wicks and Marion Ruston; and her brother: Harold Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters: Judith David Fabio, of Amherst and Nancy J. Wright, of Liverpool; her grandson, Brian Fabio and his fianc�e Anusha Moodley of Fairfax, VA.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7pm at Krueger Funeral 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10am at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 435 South Main Street, North Syracuse 13212. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Mausoleum. Contributions in Bea�s name may be made to Luther Memorial Church.
