Margaret Wulfert

Margaret "Peg" L. Wulfert, 74, of Central Square, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at University Hospital. A native of Syracuse, Peg resided in Central Square for a number of years. She was a 1961 graduate of North Syracuse High School and the daughter of the late Thaddeus J. and Margaret (Sullivan) Liro.

Peg worked as an administrative assistant at AT&T in Syracuse prior to retiring. She enjoyed skiing, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends on the St. Lawrence River. Peg was a former parishioner of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale where she married her husband in 1967.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl Wulfert; their two daughters: Heather (Craig) Stevens of Pittsburgh, PA and Lisa (Kevin) Kitzman of Waddington, NY; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer Services will begin on Thursday, 11:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 12:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
