Karen Wylde

Karen R. Wylde, 61, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017, at home surrounded by her family. Born to the late Ernest and Grace (Cole) Tupper, Karen was a lifelong resident of Mattydale and a graduate of North Syracuse High School. She recently retired after 38 years of service as an Administrative Aide at Hutchings Psychiatric Center. Karen enjoyed reading, was an avid Jets fan, and was a parishioner of St. Margaret's Church.

She is survived by her companion of 18 years, Timothy O'Neil; a son: Jeremy (Nicole) Wylde of North Syracuse; a sister: Gloria Anson of Camillus; and by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Karen's memory may be made to the local American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Margaret's Church, 203 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
