Ann Young

Ann S. Young, 99, of Charlotte, NC, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Lawyers Glen Assisted Living. Ann was a native of Malone, NY and resided in the Syracuse area for most of her life before moving to North Carolina in 1988.
Ann retired in 1978 after working in the sales department at C.E. Chapell's Department Store in Northern Lights and as a waitress/hostess for several businesses including: Yates Hotel, Wysocki's Restaurant and Lakeshore Country Club. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #617 and a former member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, both in North Syracuse.
Ann was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Donald J. Young in 1983.
Surviving are her son: Terry D. Young and his wife, Donna, of Brewerton, NY; two daughters, Pamela Clark and her husband, Carl, of Concord, NC and Donna Winslow and her husband, Donald, of Indian Trail, NC; a sister, Constance Comstock of Albany, NY; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 am Friday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale with Funeral Services beginning at 11am. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
